It is a pleasure and an honor to be invited back to the GaETC conference, one of the best state ed tech conferences in the nation. I am sharing stages with some amazing presenters, serving more than 250 sessions about modernizing teaching and learning in Georgia. It is important to acknowledge that this state is frequently lauded for its forward focus on education, especially in their utilization of information and communication technologies.
At this conference, I will be present pretty close to my entire stable of topics. I’m opening up with the three factors that are necessitating a rethink of teaching and learning. This will lead into my presentation on Web 2.0, which has evolved into an authentic application of participatory information environment, shaping our information experiences into Personal Learning Networks. My last session for the day is about video games. Fun!
