This is an interesting little setup that I’ve done a few times in the past. My friend, Scott Merrick, is facilitating a week-long workshop for teachers in Tennessee about Web 2.0 and education. This is the first day of the workshop.
He has asked me to Skype into the workshop for about an hour and to talk about Web 2.0 in education and what it means to our vision of what it means to be literate. I’ve taking one of the presentations that I frequently use for this conversation, and posted it to SlideShare, and attendees will be able to follow the presentation at their computers.
I am also setting up a Twitteresque chat application that they might use to pose questions during the presentation. That chat will also be made available as a wiki page that they can further comment on and wrap text around.
