Have a grant to do some staff development that is geared toward educating (mostly administrators) of the needs for Library 2.0.
- Step One: Joyce Valenza comes in to talk to librarians about the future of the library.
- Step Two: Working with Principals and superintendents to learn how critical Information skills are, and the pivotal place that libraries and librarians play.
- 3rd -- (feb/march 08) bringing it all together. Tools, 21st century learning, it's not about the technology, it's about the information.
I would do either two or three. Two would involve four days, working with the four different library systems.
