Without a doubt, this is the first time I have listened to a conference keynote being delivered from the front seat of a car, or the loading platform at a train station, or a city park. Great job David. Also the first time I have ever seen a conference keynote being interrupted by a couple of senior citizens out for an afternoon stroll.

The train track analogy was a good one and when David talked about taking sidetrips of learning/discovery, I could not help but think about that other analogy we have all heard used..... the 'sage on the stage' vs the 'guide on the side'. Or job as educators is to make sure that we act as the guides so that our students have the opportunity to take those little sidetrips or detours.
