Hello to All,
I am a technology coordinator for a small, rural, low economic school distict in central Pennsylvania.
I am so excited about this conference and the opportunity to learn about and use so many "flat" communication tools.
I tried to use a blog with our new teachers(8) and their mentors this year and only one person wanted to contribute. As adults and educators there seems to be a fear about placing your ideas, thoughts and opinions in print for others to see. Perhaps the idea is too new ? Perhaps I was wrong when I did not model the behavior.
Surely all educators realize there is no one blueprint for success in education. We all find our own method of teaching and arsenal of lessons that are successful in our particular educational environment.
A really BIG and special thank you to all the organizers of this conference.
