Thanks again David for the opportunity to be your student! -- In this conference, I feel more like a student than in other conferences I have attended (NECC, IL-TCE, Tech Forum, etc.) One of the most exciting components is the ability to not just consume, but contribute to and interact within this space. Sure, I've blogged about NECC and IL-TCE, and I've entered notes into previous conference wikis, but this is different. The others were 'extensions' of those experiences. In this space, it IS the experience. Here, I am expanding my network of "experts" and getting to know them ONLY through this forum.

I want to echo your comment Dave about the importance of the context/content we teach our students -- I agree that it forms our culture. We must not lose sight of this as emerging technologies provide a means to alter or change what and how our students learn.

I also would like to know more about the "technology" used to create the keynote. Was this all recorded with your iSight directly into iMovie? Was the lapel mike capturing the audio into the movie, or was that for a later podcast episode. (I ran out and purchased one of these when you first shared that you had one!) Why the m4a format vs. mov?

This is just too exciting!!
