Starting off with TED Talks --
ED Talk: We've been thinking how to kick off the conference this year. Last year's round table type discussion got mixed reviews and this year we wanted to do something different. So taking a lead from TED the committee is asking that instead of a round table discussion that each one of you give a 5-7 minute TED type talk. Being inspirational, demonstrate a program, get people excited. We will leave it up to you.
Are goal is to get people excited! Many of the international educators do not know who you are and we felt this would be a great way for you to introduce yourself to the conference participants. So be thinking of a way to motivate, engage, and get people excited about education and technology in 5 to 7 minutes.
