This is No Kidding!

It makes no difference — shade or out in the sun, it’s just plain hot in Raleigh today. I road my bike this morning, but no walk this afternoon!

    Hot? Common in Phoenix…but it’s a dry heat! :-)

Hot in KC, too. Heat index (whatever that is) 108.

I feel ya. 96 today, and this evening my air conditioner went out. Hope someone can come out tomorrow.

I live in the west valley of Phoenix and the temp gauge in my car hit 114 on the drive home today.

I was in Wisconsin for the summer and would easily take the 105ish here over the 90 there though.

I sat on a bleacher today waiting for the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavor. We Canadians are not built for August in Florida. No matter, almost died of heat stroke, but would do it again in a second. It was a totally AWESOME experience!

Over 100 degrees is a common experience here in Bakersfield, CA, but I imagine that in Raleigh, the real story would be told by the humidity - yuck.

The funny thing is that here in South Texas, we have yet to see 100+ degrees this year. Since we’re in the middle of summer band, I won’t really complain. But I’m sorry that you’re so miserable out there. We’re LOVING our 97 degree days over here!
